Clearly someone hacked into his cyborg brain and re-programmed it: he passed up Reggie Bush and Vince Young, opting to take Mario Williams. Dude, you could have easily traded down and gotten either Williams or D’Brickashaw Ferguson, who will be a rock at LT for the next 10-12 years.
